FRANKLIN – A preliminary hearing originally scheduled for today has been postponed for 13-year-old Zachary Proper, of Oil City, accused of fatally shooting his grandmother and step-grandfather Dorothy and George Fross at their Sandycreek Township home October 7th.  A staffer in the office of Venango County District Attorney Marie Veon told us the hearing, which was scheduled to take place at 8:30 this morning in Venango Central Court, will be rescheduled.  A new date has not yet been picked.  Proper remains confined in a secure juvenile detention center in Erie.

Venango County Court staffers inform us the case has been transferred to Common Pleas Court, and a motion has been filed to transfer to the juvenile system.  No word yet on any action on that motion, or a new date for further proceedings.  We're told more information will be available in the next couple of days.  Keep listening to the Forever Broadcasting radio stations and checking this website and www.palive365.com for continuous coverage.
