MEADVILLE — Police are searching for a man who robbed a Vernon Township bank. At 12:30 p.m. Friday, a man walked into the First Niagara Bank in the Park Avenue Plaza, handed the teller a note, and walked away with an undisclosed amount of cash. Police describe the man as standing about six feet tall, and weighing about 210-pounds. He was wearing a black ball cap and glasses.
