OIL CREEK TWP. — Two young men from Titusville died after being involved in a head-on crash.  Twenty-two-year-old Devon Patrick Beach and Ryan James Rose died after Beach drove their Polaris Ranger Utility Vehicle into an oncoming car.  The accident occurred Friday afternoon as the two men were driving the four-wheeler south on Route 8 into Hydetown.  Beach attempted to pass and struck a Cadillac sedan head-on.  The driver was Dewey Alden Wagner, 70, of Tionesta.

Police tell us the UTV was knocked some 80-feet across the northbound lane of the highway, ejecting Rose in the process.  Rose was pronounced dead at the scene.  Beach was extricated, flown alive to Hamot Hospital in Erie, and later died of his injuries.

Wagner suffered only minor injuries.
