Fifty-year-old police officer and father of two Stephen Vincent scratched off a $250-thousand dollar instant lottery ticket. Vincent says it was like any other day when he stopped into the Tidiuote Trading Post:
"That day, I decided to play a Diamond Seven ticket. It was April 10th and I won on number ten. I bought the ticket, went outside, scratched it off in my car, and was just in shock."
Vincent says he's spreading the wealth around:
"I gave each of my kids money, I put $100-thousand away towards retirement, and I left $40-thousand for me just to play with."
While 250-thousand dollars is a lot of money, Vincent says it's not enough for him to immediately retire. He plans to do that at the ripe old age of 58:
"It's nice knowing, to go to sleep, that you are completely debt-free, that your paychecks are yours, and not going out everywhere."
One of the first orders of business... a vacation with his girlfriend.
