OIL CITY – A Seneca man who Oil City Police say raped a teenage girl in broad daylight in a city park is due in court this morning.  Online court records indicate 18-year-old Randy Lee Sollinger is scheduled for a preliminary hearing in Venango Central Court at 8:30 this morning.

Police say Sollinger raped a 16-year-old girl in Justus Park on Saturday, January 12th and threatened her with a knife.  After the rape, Sollinger allegedly used the knife to slice open a dead raccoon and told the girl to be quiet.

Sollinger is facing felony charges of rape, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, aggravated indecent assault, and unlawful contact with a minor, and a misdemeanor charge of indecent assault.
