MEADVILLE – Crawford County Sheriff Nick Hoke tells Forever Broadcasting investigators today plan to continue the search for a possibly armed fugitive in Crawford County. Authorities are looking for 34-year-old Jason Michael Csorba, of the Linesville area.
“His original charges were possession of a firearm prohibited, terroristic threats, simple assault, reckless endangering, and possession of drug paraphernalia,” says Hoke.
A manhunt began yesterday involving federal, state, and local law enforcement officers and is expected to resume today.
“There was an understanding that we got from somebody close to him that there was a .22 rifle that he could have been armed with. There is a possibility that they may have firearms and may be willing to use them. That’s why we use all the assets we have and get the US Marshals Task Force involved, and our office, and the State Police.”
Csorba was reportedly last seen driving a gray Chevy Malibu in the Linesville area. Investigators yesterday afternoon ended up following leads in Springboro and southern Erie County.
“It’s gonna be a wait-and-see. We’re going to see if we can get any more substantial leads that can be a little bit more positive.”
