STATE COLLEGE — One of the principal players in the Jerry Sandusky sex abuse case is filing a whistleblower suit against his former employer. The “Centre Daily-Times” says Mike McQueary filed the lawsuit against Penn State University, and wants millions of dollars. In the filing McQueary’s suit says he’s been portrayed as part of a “cover-up” and his coaching prospects have been ruined. McQueary has testified that he saw Sandusky with a young boy inside a shower room in 2001. McQueary was put on administrative leave following the scandal. His contract with Penn State expired this past June.
