BUTLER COUNTY – A Reno couple were arrested during a traffic stop in Butler County. Their charges include drug possession and child endangerment. Police say the woman was eight months pregnant and high on drugs while riding around with her 2-year-old child.
Jackson Township Police tell the Cranberry Eagle they searched a vehicle in which 30-year-old Emily Stallard and 29-year-old Andrew McClellan were passengers late Tuesday. The search was carried out near Route 19 and I-79. Officers turned up suspected heroin, marijuana, hypodermic needles and other contraband. The driver of the vehicle, David London, told investigators he saw Stallard inject herself with a substance.
Stallard and McClellan were both committed to the Butler County Jail. Bail was set at $5,000 for Stallard and $10,000 for McClellan. London will face traffic charges and possession of a prohibited weapon… a large commando style knife.
