BUTLER COUNTY – A murder-suicide in Butler County is blamed on domestic violence. Investigators are not clear why Dean Clawson and Sonja Kummer were arguing outside their home in Center Township Saturday morning. When police arrived, they found both dead. It appeared Kummer was trying to end their six-month relationship and was in the process of moving out when Clawson fired three shots at her. Police said it wasn’t their first call to the home.
