JEFFERSON COUNTY – Authorities in Jefferson County have made an arrest after a local fisherman made a horrifying discovery. Human remains underneath a bridge in Perry Township.

The victim was determined to be Chet Allan Haddow, of Punxatawney. Police arrested 32-year-old Michael Christopher Shugars – also a Punxatawney resident. Police claim Shugars shot Haddow and then cut his body into pieces with a chainsaw in a drug deal gone bad.

Shugars allegedly scattered the body parts all over Jefferson and Indiana Counties.

He’s been charged with six counts including three felony charges of Criminal Homicide, Aggravated Assault, and Robbery, and is being held without bail in the Jefferson County Prison.
