HAYFIELD TWP. – We have just learned that a pocket knife has landed a 12-year-old middle school student from Crawford County in hot water.  It happened at the Saegertown Junior Senior High School in Hayfield Township.

Officials say the boy had a small Swiss Army style knife and was filing his fingernail while in school on Tuesday.  That’s when another student saw him and reported him to a teacher.

Yesterday, the school contacted the State Police, who are currently in the process of investigating the incident.  No additional details were released.
