A manhunt that started Sunday morning came to a peaceful end yesterday. The man in question surrendered without incident after being found in a wooded area of Cussewago Township. Police say he underwent testing at Meadville Medical Center and will receive mental health treatment.
Initial reports claimed he was armed with a high-powered rifle, but the latest news release from State Police makes no mention of whether he had a weapon. The man’s name has not been released. He is not being charged with a crime.
