A Boardman, Ohio area woman has gone missing and may be in the Meadville area. Twenty-year-old Brandy Rosine, of Beaver Township, Ohio was last heard from Thursday.
A childhood friend, Krysti Horvat, says Rosine texted an Ohio friend that she would be leaving for Cochranton Thursday morning to meet an acquaintence. By noon on Thursday, Horvat says Rosine indicated she was at a Subway restaurant, and by 2:30 p.m., Horvat says Rosine texted, "she gave a bad address... I'm at a church... I'm going home."
Rosine is diabetic and Horvat says she might be delusional without her medication.
Rosine was not heard from until Monday night, when Ohio authorities told Brandy's mother, Carrie Rosine, that they had traced her cell phone to somewhere in the 350 block of Linden Street, in the city of Meadville. Horvat says family members went door-to-door, and could not get any answers.
Horvat says calls placed to Rosine's phone by family and friends went to voicemail.
Meadville city police today confirmed that they were investigating the incident but did not have any new information.
Brandy Rosine is about 5'3", 150-160 lbs., has pale skin and dark blond hair, and usually wears thick-rimmed glasses. She drives a 2002 blue-gray Kia Rio, with Ohio plates ERN 8391. If you have any information, call the Meadville City Police at 814-724-6100, or the Beaver Township Police at 330-549-5338.
