MEADVILLE — Police in Meadville arrested two women for operating an alleged mobile methamphetamine lab. City police officers worked with agents from the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Drug Task Force and located and stopped a white van in the city Wednesday, where it was believed meth was being manufactured. The State Police Clandestine Lab Response Team responded and cleared the van.
Two suspects were arrested and taken into custody, 32-year-old Devanie Marie Coudriet, and 23-year-old Ashley Stewart, both of Meadville. Both suspects were charged and arraigned before Magistrate William Chisholm.
Coudriet’s bail was set at 100-thousand dollars. Stewart’s was set at 15-thousand. Neither of the women were able to post bail.
