MEADVILLE – A 15-year-old boy from Meadville is found guilty in Crawford County Juvenile Court Wednesday for a vicious attack in the city last month.  Fifteen-year-old Tyler Adams and a 16-year-old accomplice were charged with brutally beating a 34-year-old Meadville man in a CVS Pharmacy parking lot early in the morning of January 1st.

Judge John Spataro found Adams delinquent in juvenile court, the juvenile equivalent of a guilty conviction.  Adams will be back in court in 30 days to determine his punishment.

Meanwhile his accomplice is due in court March 5th.  The court is expected to rule on whether to honor the District Attorney’s request to try the 16-year-old in adult criminal court.

DA Francis Schultz says the victim was badly beaten and required surgery for multiple facial fractures.
