Meadville man arrested for firing shots into home

MEADVILLE — No one was injured when a Meadville man fired shots into an occupied home early this morning.  Meadville City Police have taken into custody 26-year-old Rashon Lamar Jones.  Police were called for an altercation, prior to shots being fired.  The shots were fired through the front door of 504 Randolph Street.  No injuries were reported to any of the occupants.  Police responded to the call at approximately 4:42 in the morning.

Investigators interviewed Jones, and he was then taken into custody.  His charges include Discharge of a Firearm into an Occupied Structure — a third degree felony, four misdemeanor counts of Reckless Endangerment one misdemeanor count of Simple Assault, and a summary charge of Discharging Firearms Prohibited.
