UNION CITY – Hundreds remain without power this morning in Union City. National Weather Service officials confirmed yesterday that it was in fact an F-1 tornado that rolled through town Tuesday evening, leaving a path of devastation in its wake. Power lines down, trees completely uprooted, windows smashed, and even a brick storefront collapsed into the street. Red cross officials are providing shelter for some 15 families, and Union City schools are closed for the second day in a row today.
