Horse burned in weekend attack

State Police are looking for answers after a horse was set ablaze in Athens Township, Crawford County over the weekend.  It happened along Athens Road.  The horse was burned over much of its body, but police say the wounds were mostly superficial and the horse survived.

Family members told an Erie TV station they are hoping the horse, called Northstar, makes a full recovery.
