Grove City woman killed by box truck

MERCER COUNTY – A 22-year-old Grove City woman was killed Tuesday after being struck by a box truck while jogging in Mercer County.  The accident occurred just after 10am on Airport Road in Pine Township.  Clarion University student Megan Kays was trying to cross the intersection of Airport Road and Route 58 when she was hit by the truck.  State Police say the driver was 27-year-old Veronica Salusky, of Emlenton.  Kays died at Grove City Medical Center about a half hour later of blunt force trauma.
