MEADVILLE – A group that’s renovating downtown Conneaut Lake is asking for help from Crawford County. The Conneaut Lake Community Development Committee is asking for 30-thousand now, and 30-thousand next year from the county, to be taken out of the Act 13 drilling impact fee fund.
The county funds would join revenue streams from other government agencies, as well as commercial and private sources. The Streetscapes project, as it is called, will remove overhead wires, put up decorative light poles, and make various landscape improvements to Fireman’s Beach and the downtown Conneaut Lake area.
