Fire crews battled a blaze at a western Crawford County barn for over five hours yesterday. The barn in the 15-thousand block of Phelps Road several miles west of Linesville was a total loss. Linesville Fire Chief William Mickle says officials are working to pinpoint a cause.
“No cause at this time. We’re still working on trying to get everything put out. A State Police Fire Marshal will be out here.”
Officials say a firefighter was injured while fighting the blaze and was taken to a local hospital. His name and condition were not released.
