MEADVILLE – Concerned community members are trying to save a treasured Meadville resource – the Meadville Area Recreation Complex, better known as the MARC. It is projected that with current funding levels, the MARC’s indoor pool won’t make it another year past this summer. And ultimately, the entire complex could be at risk of going under, including the tennis courts, ice rink, baseball and soccer fields, and volleyball courts.
A town hall meeting has been organized for Wednesday February 6th at 6:30 p.m. at the Meadville Medical Center Grove Street Assembly Room. Everyone is invited to attend and the focus of this meeting will be ideas, not donations.
