Public Service Announcements 1-24-14



Faith Builders Christian School is having its 16th annual Pancake and Sausage Breakfast to be held Saturday morning, February 15th from 8am to 11am at the school.  Proceeds from the breakfast will be used to keep tuition affordable for the community.



The Meadville Area Little League will hold registrations on two weekends in February.  Registrations will be held Friday February 14th from 4 to 8 and Saturday the 15th from 9am to one.  Registrations will also be held the following weekend at the same times.  For more information call Bill at 573-1319.



Registration of students entering kindergarten in the Franklin Area School District will be held on April 8th in Sandycreek, April 9th in Victory, April 14th in the Central region, and April 15th in Utica.  To be eligible for Kindergarten, the child must be five years old before September 1st.  To schedule a time to register your child, call Sandy Lewis at 814-437-5753.



The Meadville Menace Girls Fastpitch Softball Club is holding its second annual Spaghetti dinner at the Italian Civic Club in Meadville.  The event will be held on March 1st at 6pm.  Donations are appreciated.  Call 814-795-6997.



The Conneaut Lake Bark Park is sponsoring a Community Flea Market Saturday February 8th from 9am to 2pm at Conneaut Lake Fire Hall.  Proceeds benefit community programs provided by the Bark Park.  Donations are graciously accepted.  For more information and table details call Robin Copeland at 814-382-1233.

Cranberry Area School District is scheduling kindergarten registration.  To register, your child must be 5 years old by August 1st.  The district is conducting a survey to help determine the number of students who will be enrolled in the coming school year.  Parents who have not yet received a survey form and who have a child eligible for kindergarten should call 676-1871, as soon as possible.



The Pleasantville Volunteer Fire Department Station 16 is having a multi-county dog license and rabies clinic at the fire hall from 9 to 11 on February 1st.  Treasurers from Venango, Crawford, Forest, and Warren Counties will be on hand.



St. Michael’s School in Greenville is holding its Pre-K through 8th grade open house Thursday January 30th from 6 to 7:30pm.  Call 724-588-7198 to schedule a tour or for more information.



The Saegertown Panthers Baseball Team is having a Dodgeball Tournament Saturday February 8th.  The cost is 30 dollars per six person team.  All proceeds benefit the baseball team.  Registration is due by January 31st by calling Tammy at 814-573-7598.
