FAIRFIELD TWP. – A Cochranton area man faces a felony charge of aggravated assault as well as a handful of other related charges for allegedly stabbing a man on Friday. The incident occurred at a home on Laush Road in Fairfield Township, Crawford County.
Investigators say 58-year-old Donald Neil Bartholomew stabbed 22-year-old Dalton Levi Shetler. Police described Shetler’s injuries as non life-threatening.
Following the assault, Bartholomew took off on foot, and was located the next day after a warrant was issued for his arrest. He was taken into police custody and is awaiting a preliminary hearing.
