BREAKING: Meadville Police arrest two in early morning stabbing

MEADVILLE — Meadville Police responded to an early morning fight between two men  on Arch Street, in front of the Meadville Credit Union.  Police answered the call at 1:38 this morning.  One of the men had stab wounds to his right arm, left thigh, and left chest.  The other man was immediately taken into custody.  He was identified as 42-year-old Tyrone Cornelius Turner and will be arraigned on charges of Aggravated Assault, Simple Assault, Recklessly Endangering, Harassment, and Disorderly Conduct.

Police are not releasing the name of the victim at this time.  He was taken by ambulance to Meadville Medical Center for treatment and was later released.  Police say the victim will also be arraigned for an outstanding robbery warrant from Meadville City Police.
