OIL CITY – Ronald Feely, Junior. That is the name of the man found dead along the banks of the Allegheny River in Oil City. The 26-year-old Feely was an Oil City resident.
Police tell us the tragic discovery was made at about 8:30 Tuesday morning near the Wye Bridge in the neighborhood of Siverly.
An autopsy is was ordered Tuesday in Erie at the direction of Venango County Coroner Christina Rugh.
When we spoke to him yesterday, Oil City Police Chief Robert Wenner did not comment on whether foul play is suspected.
More information is expected pending a toxicology test, which we’re told could take up to eight weeks.
