Blooming Valley man charged in stabbing

A Blooming Valley man is charged with Aggravated Assault for a Saturday night stabbing in the borough.  State police say Scott Beebe, a Linda Road resident, stabbed Thomas Fry, of Meadville, in the left arm with a kitchen knife.

Beebe apparently fled his home after the incident and state troopers later that night found him in the city of Meadville, where they say he was apprehended without incident.

Initial emergency radio reports indicated that Fry had multiple stab wounds to the arm and head.  There is no word at this time on the extent of those injuries.
