MEADVILLE – Killer number two in the Cochranton love triangle murder pleads guilty. Judge Mark Stevens handed down a life sentence Thursday to 21-year-old Ashley Barber. Her counterpart Jade Olmstead also pleaded and received the same sentence last month. Together they killed a rival lover 20-year-old Brandy Stevens, of Youngstown. They buried her body in a shallow grave in Barber’s backyard in the Cochranton area.
At Thursday’s hearing Barber told the judge she wanted Stevens to leave her and Olmstead alone.
