SUMMIT TWP. -- The Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General has filed a petition in Crawford County Court of Common Pleas to remove the Board of Trustees at Conneaut Lake Park.  The petition charges that the trust's breach of fiduciary responsibilities resulted in direct damages to Conneaut Lake Park, specifically the lack of insurance coverage on the Beach Club and Dreamland Ballroom properties.

The petition also cites a number of examples of "waste and mismanagement" at the park, and claims the Board of Trustees intentionally drove business away from the Hotel Conneaut.

The petition orders that the court explain why it should not oust the current board, appoint a new board, and demand that the current board be held accountable for financial damages due to their failure to insure the burned properties.

Attached is a copy of the 14-page court petition.
