Police are investigating an early morning armed robbery at a Crawford County bar.  Authorities say the Double D Bar in Venango Township was robbed at about 2:00 this morning.

Police say a man used a shotgun to fire a shot into the ceiling before fleeing the scene with about 350 dollars cash.

No one was injured.

The suspect is described as a lighter skinned black man, between 5’10″ and 5’11″, last seen wearing a black hoodie with an 8-ball and flames on the chest, white shorts, and white high top tennis shoes.  He was also wearing a bandana or ball cap.  He was armed with a shotgun and police say he should not be confronted if encountered.
