ONE-RUN FOR BOSTON RELAY IN OUR AREA

EARLY THIS MORNING, THE “ONE-RUN FOR BOSTON RELAY” GOES THROUGH OUR AREA. Ethan Imhoff and Ben Mazur will take the symbolic baton from Kristen Gill. She will run to the convenience store at Route 22 and South Center Street in Cambria Township. Imhoff WILL run 6-POINT-5-miles along old Route 22 to Cresson and hand off the baton to Jason Williamson at Admiral Peary Park. more than a dozen runners ARE TO JOIN Williamson As he goes down the mountain into Duncansville and passes the baton to another set of runners for the next leg. The goal is to have the baton in Boston by Sunday, 23 days after it left Los Angeles. Each runners paid a $50 entry fee and more than 60-THOUSAND DOLLARS haS ALREADY been raised to benefit the BOSTON MARATHON BOMBING victims.

Indiana County AUTHORITIES TELL THE TRIBUNE DEMOCRAT THAT 46 YEAR OLD JAMES ALEXANDER OF ERNEST was gunned down Monday NIGHT because 2 MEN WERE TIRED OF HIS RIPPING THEM OFF FOR DRUGS. 22 YEAR OLD CHRISTOPHER SALSGIVER IS ACCUSED OF SHOOTING ALEXANDER IN THE HEAD…AND GREGORY PATTERSON WAS HIS ALLEGED ACCOMPLICE. THE 3 MEN APPARENTLY MET ON A CLYMER HIKING TRAIL SO ALEXANDER COULD SELL THE OTHERS HEROIN. BOTH SALSGIVER AND PATTERSON ARE FROM GLEN CAMPBELL AND THEY ALLEGEDLY STOLE 300 DOLLARS IN CASH AND 2 BRICKS OF HEROIN. PRELIMINARY HEARINGS ARE SET FOR TUESDAY.

CURLEY & SCHULTZ STILL FIGHTING FOR DISMISSAL

LAWYERS FOR Former Penn State officials Tim Curley and Gary Schultz are once again TRYING to have OBSTRUCTION OF JUSTICE charges against them dropped. ACCORDING TO THE CENTRE DAILY TIMES, THE ATTORNEYS MOTION CITES a "cluster of errors" AFFECTING THE GRAND JURY’S INVESTIGATION. A MAJOR part of their 32 page document focuses on PENN STATE’S FORMER COUNSEL Cynthia Baldwin AND SCHULTZ AND CURLEY SAY They believed SHE represented them, but SHE later testified against them. Former Penn State President Graham Spanier has filed similar MOTIONS FOR DISMISSAL.
