Fewer lawmakers?

State lawmakers are voting today on 2 bills THAT WOULD cut the size of the legislature. The House WOULD DROP FROM 203 members to 153…and the Senate from 50 to 38.

Since the bills would require a Constitutional amendment, they must be passed in 2 consecutive sessions of the General Assembly and then approved by referendum vote.
