SCHETROMPF…WHO REMAINS HOSPITALIZED IN SERIOUS CONDITION…APPARENTLY OWED MYERS 20 dOLLARS for A WEIGHT BENCH. Myers was WEARING AN ELECTRONIC ANKLE BRACELET AND on parole for a felony drug conviction. INSIDE THE APARTMENT COMPLEX, POLICE FOUND a SIgnificant amount of heroin, ammunition, some money and an additional firearm.

Prison lockdown

ROCKVIEW STATE prison NEAR STATE COLLEGE is on lockdown after a member of tHE staff was assaulted by an inmate Thursday morning. The condition of the person who was HURT has not been released. The lockdown is expected to remain in effect until sometime TOday.

VOTER ID CHALLENGE

The two sides in Pennsylvania’s Voter ID case take issue with each other’s statistics. The state’s expert argued in court Thursday that the plaintiff’s method of calculating the number of voters who lack ID is error-prone.  The half-million figure included dead people, inmates, and thousands of duplicate names. On cross-examination, the state’s expert acknowledged that his method of gathering data was crude. The trial will continue next Tuesday.
