SHERRY’S FATHER-IN-LAW REPORTEDLY CONFESSED TO HIS SON THAT HE KILLED HER ACCIDENTALLY AND BURIED THE BODY. KENNETH LEIGHTY IS JAILED AFTER ATTACKING POLICE OFFICERS WHO WANTED TO QUESTION HIM.

A MISSING PERSON IN Somerset TOWNSHIP. 23 YEAR OLD JACOB GILBERT WAS LAST SEEN MONDAY NIGHT. HIS FAMILY SAYS HE has a medical condition that requires medication and hE mAY be disoriented. GILBERT MAY BE DRIVING A SILVER 2000 HONDA CIVIC with A LARGE BLUE EYE DECAL ON THE BACK WINDOW. ANYONE WITH information SHOULD call STATE POLICE AT 445-41-04.

POLICE LOOKING IN TO SCHOOL THREAT

the investigation continues AS POLICE TRY TO FIGURE OUT WHO WROTE a threat on a BOYS’ bathroom wall at Central Cambria High School THIS WEEK. Cambria Township police CHIEF MARK WESTRICK SAYS THE NOTE HAD ONLY 2 words. IT said “School shooting – 5/3/13.” MAY 3RD IS THE DAY BEFORE CENTRAL CAMBRIA’S SENIOR PROM. POLICE ARE STILL REVIEWING VIDEO FROM THE SCENE. LOCAL OFFICERS AND STATE TROOPERS ALSO HAVE AN INCREASED PRESENCE AT THE SCHOOL.

STATE COLLEGE IS above the state average in math, reading, and college readiness. Altoona Area High SCHOOL CAME IN AT NUMBER 71 IN PENNSYLVANIA. Bedford Senior High IS 75TH. BELLWOOD ANTIS 76TH.

ACCEPTABLE ITEMS includE insecticides, weed killers, pool chemicals, cleaners, poisons, corrosives, flammables, oil based paints, C-F-L bulbs and most other hazardous chemicals.
