EDINBORO – Fifth legislative district representative Greg Lucas is introducing legislation that would allow teachers, principals, and other school employees to carry firearms on school property. Lucas says teachers would be required to pass a background check and get the same certification used by law enforcement officers. Pennsylvania law currently restricts firearms on school property.
